Vinecol was established in 1998 as one of the first wineries to be Organic Certified in Argentina. It is a family run winery with a strong commitment with the environmet (including a Forestation Plan) and with the society (Organic Garden for the employees and Education Program for the neighboring schools).
The winery and the vineyards are located in the district of La Paz, in the eastern region of Mendoza, adjoining the Ñacuñan biosphere reserve, endowed with natural resources which are perfect for organic cultivation.
The Ñacuñan biosphere has been part of the UNESCO MAB program (Men and the Biosphere) since 1986. This ensures an area of non-polluted resources that supplies our vineyards.
Vinecol is a company 100% Organic, owning 100 hectares of vineyards located at aroud 1000 meters above sea level. In order to have an efficient use of the water, we manage the irrigation with a mix of dripping system and flooding.
We harvest manually in boxes of 18kgs, and our main planted varieties are Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Bonarda, Torrontes and Chardonnay.
